Black Queens midfielder Priscilla Otchere says they are not intimadated by playing Cameroun infront of their teeming home fans, rather, they are fired up to maintain their dominance over a side they have consistently beaten.

The Queens and the Indomitable Lionnesses on Tuesday, clash in the first semi-final game of the Africa Women's Championship in Yaounde, with sides vowing to ditch the other.

The Camerounians are counting on the massive home support to beat the Queens only for the second time in their six AWC meetings as they are eager to live on their'host and win' mantra.

Yaoundé, November 17, 2016 – The Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF) in partnership with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in Cameroon, African Union (AU), Powerplay and the Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT) have jointly launched the “Together against the marriage of young girls” campaign towards abandoning child marriages on the continent.

Statistics have shown that one in five girls (representing 20%) aged 15-19 in Cameroon

is married, and globally, about 15 million young girls are forced into marriages before their 18th birthday.

 Ex-Black Stars player Mohammed Polo says he doesn’t feel neglected by Premier League clubs but hasn’t given up coaching any, after his stint with Accra Hearts of oak.

The former Hearts of oak trainer and player is currently having an Academy called ‘Polo Soccer Academy’ which seeks to unearth talents from the grassroots.

He was part of the Black Stars squad that won the 1978 African cup of Nations in Ghana.
