Former management member of Asante Kotoko SC and current Team Manager of Black Stars B, Edmund Ackah has called for unity among various supporters and sympathizers of football especially the supporters of the two glamorous clubs in Ghana, Asante Kotoko SC and Accra Hearts of Oak to put club affiliations aside and support the Ghana home based (Black Stars B) team wholeheartedly.

According to Edmund Ackah, unity among supporters is one of the tools that will motivate the players to overcome Sunday's hurdle with ease".

Ghana Black Stars B team will battle out with their neighbours, Burkina Faso on Sunday August 20, 2017 as they seek qualification for Kenya 2018 CHAN Tournament.

"Unity brings strength and without unity there is nothing as a country we can achieve. Unity is vital in everything. The body is at its best when all the parts of the body are working together toward a common goal, each depending on the other to cooperate in reaching the desired goal. Unity is strength, when there is teamwork and collaboration, wonderful things can be achieved "Edmund Ackah emphasized.

There has been brouhaha and allegation from Hearts of Oak Supporters leaders that technical handlers of Black Stars B are influencing their players to play for Asante Kotoko SC.

Though, Coach Maxwell Konadu has denied that allegations.

Commenting on it, Edmund Ackah said he believes that it has a means of dividing the various supporting groups which has a tendency to jeopardize the progress of Black Stars B in Sunday's game against Stallions of Burkina Faso so, it should not be appreciated but rather ignored.

It will be a herculean task on Sunday as the two countries battle it out for qualifications for CHAN tournament.

Black Stars B held a 2-2 drawn game in the first encounter and they will be hoping to eliminate Burkina Faso after they failed to qualify to the last edition.

"Apart from stalwart defender, Awal Mohammed, who has been ruled out of the game on Sunday the rest are well poised for Sunday's game" Edmund Ackah added.

It has been a while the team took part in the CHAN tournament, so all and sundry should support the Black Stars B on Sunday for a qualification.
