A social commentator Mr. Amankwaa Nathaniel popular known as Ofa Yaw Surprise the Made in Ghana Ambassador who advocates for the use of our locally manufactured goods has descend on the people of Denkyira - Obuasi after the Major's funeral.
According him the residents of Denkyira - Obuasi has caused a great harm and cost financial lost to the state by lynching such a great soldier whiles on duty to stop people from illegal mining which is destroying our lands and natural water bodies. But he blamed our law enforces for their actions.
He added there are several mob attacks and instant justice cases which the perpetrators involved are seen walking freely in this country, even within the week Major Maxwell were murdered a man was lynched for allegedly stealing mobile phone whiles another women was beating to death been accused of witchcraft, these act continues because there are several instant justice cases where suspects are not prosecuted and sentenced if found guilty to deter others.
He therefore suggested to the state to force the people of Denkyira - Obuasi to pay every cost from Major Maxwell Adam Mahama's funeral and also pay half of the GH¢ 500,000 fund set for his family to set as a deterrent to others who have such intentions.
