Urban gospel rapper KobbySalm has released a spoken word fused with a hip-hop song titled ‘Earth Is Hell’.

This is the second video released by the Christian rapper this year after his off the hook ‘Satan Claps’ video in January.

‘Earth Is Hell’ is a poetic masterpiece capturing the oxymoron of life.

In the poem, the rapper talks about how unsatisfying life on earth is regardless of a person's status and how worthless things of the world is as compared to the life assured in heaven.

In KobbySalm’s first ever written poem, he incorporated his rap skills in the poem which brought more flesh to the record and also made him stay true to his urban gospel genre.

The Guess Who It Is Family signed artiste has become one of the leaders of the Urban Gospel Music genre in Ghana.

The Chief Executive Officer for Foklex Media Productions, an events and marketing organization, Mr Frank Akwasi Owusu has urged media practitioners to support projects that are aimed at highlighting the prowess and performance of media personalities in the Country.

According to him, that is the only way others who are not in the media industry will respect and appreciate media work.

Addressing the media at the launch of the 6th Foklex Media Awards program in Kumasi, Mr Owusu underscored the importance of getting people to acknowledge the performance of media personalities as well as their outfits.

He, therefore, rallied members of the public to join in the initiative of Foklex Media Productions as it launches this year's version of the radio personality awards.

Mr Owusu disclosed that this year's awards will be voted for through two social media platforms, that is via Whatsapp (0267-683430) and Face-book.

Throwing light on the purpose of the awards, Mr Owusu mentioned that his outfit recognized the important role of the media and hence the decision to support them by rewarding hard working personalities in the industry.

The awards, he stressed is aimed at projecting particular individuals whose art and knowledge were scarcely recognized in the country.

According to the CEO, the project is used to unearth new talents and personalities whose works, hitherto, had been hidden from the public.

Mr Owusu said the awards has led to the bridging of the gap between rural radio personalities and urban practitioners since many have had more exposure and better deals by virtue of their participation in the annual event.

This year, nominees from six regions of the country will be up for prizes as about 200 personalities in the industry will battle it out for the enviable titles at stake.

The region with the largest categories remains the host, Ashanti Region which has 19 different sets of personalities for awards.

The Brong-Ahafo region follows second with 11 categories while the Central and Eastern regions follows with 10 categories each.

However, the Northern and the Western regions have the lowest form of categories with each having Nine (9) to battle out for the coveted award of being crowned as best radio personality.

Meanwhile, Mr Owusu has urged corporate and individual organisations to partner his outfit as it embarks on this journey of awarding hardworking individuals and personalities in the media industry.
